At the back of a church their  button near the door which can be used to start an audio commentary on the  of the heritage of the Church and its significance using the Church's speaker system. Visitors often appreciate the beautiful windows or the old inscriptions which speak for themselves but the commentary can help you to fill in the background story and increase your enjoyment.

Repairs

We continue to work hard to keep St Peter's Church in a good state of repair, and to make improvements to keep it relevant and in use by our community while at the same time respecting and retaining  its history and heritage.

The funding from the Heritage Lottery fun has  helped us to make necessary repairs to the Church and particularly repointing the tower and restoration of the tower  roof to ensure this heritage continues to be soundly protected and available to our community
